摘要：The preparation of the first edition of the Treatise on Sedimentation was initiated in 1920 at which time the Committee on Sedimentation of the Division of Geology and Geography of the National Research CouncD font.ulated plans for the prepamtion of such a book and instructed the writer to bring it to completion.
